Groundworks a job for life
What is a groundworker ???
A person who can carry out the Installation of a Structure, or services
or materials into or onto the Ground.
A Person who works from the Ground down
A Person with the knowledge to work with heavy Construction Plant to
excavate into the ground or Place and compact materials into or onto the ground
A Person who can lay kerbs, paving, build manholes
A person who can carry out the construction of pile caps, ground
beams and RC Frame works.
Groundworks is something you learn after school, I didnt come across a lesson when
I was at school that taught me how or influenced me to follow this path.
Why is that???????
Hopefully by now there are training schemes introducing school kids into a well paid
very interesting job such as this.
