I recieved this from the editor and am overwhelmed
by his statements as the one worry in writing a book is that it may become boring for the reader. Mine does not which makes
me so proud.
Commentary…
Book: Twisted Chimneys by Patrick Guilfoyle Patrick, your book began as a challenge. It seemed depressing and a bit too pedestrian in nature.
However;
· It offers an excellent
insight into life in a certain working class life in the U.K. in the time frame when you grew up.
· It
offers excellent insights into a variety of persons…What drives them, how they think, behave and relate to others.
Then, as your life progressed, the book’s interest picked
up.
When I came across your purpose in writing
and saw the evolution, it became far more interesting.
There
is quite a bit of value here, not only to your family and friends, but to those you motivate to do the same for themselves
and their families and friends.
All in all, a
good effort. Your website is an excellent tool and valuable add on to this book.
Well done, Patrick…
You
have my best wishes for your book and efforts in passing along personal, family histories.
